2021 Petit Verdot

2021 was an exceptional hot year, perfect for this late-ripening variety. Famous for its deep, dark color, Petit Verdot is usually blended in very small amounts for fear it may dominate less powerful grapes. Here we show you Petit Verdot as a single varietal and named it after Lucky, who was known as ‘the boss of all bosses’ during Prohibition, for his strength and dominance. Aromas of lilac, plum, and dried herbs prevail throughout this bold, dark wine.
